Splashing

Noah has found a new joy during bath time. SPLASHING! He used to splash a little here and there, but now....he won't stop splashing at all. His entire bath is nothing but splashing. It is so cute! Now even when I wash him, he splashes away. I end up soaking wet afterwards. Sometimes I can hardly see what I am doing because my face is so wet. Although it is adorable, I need to come up with a plan so I can stay dry during this process.Avalanche Game

Last night my father in law, Shelby, invited me to attend the Avalanche vs. Coyotes hockey game with him at the Pepsi Center. It was the first NHL game I've ever been too and the seats were amazing. His company gets tickets right on the ice. Our seats were literally the row right on the warm side of the glass. There were a couple hits on our side that freaked me out a bit, those walls flex more than I thought they would. It was awesome. People around us were commenting on how they were being less violent than usual, but it was still pretty hard hitting. And before the game was over there was even a bona fide fight. Great times were had by all, except for maybe the Avalanche which lost by 3 in the last period with about 5 minutes left in the game. Our family

We took our first (professional) family photos before Christmas. I am so excited to hang it on our wall, and hopefully someday more kids will be added to it. There are more on these photos on flickr. It is flickr.com/photos/amber-rasmusenNoah's First Christmas!

We celebrated Noah's first Christmas this year, and it was so fun. He didn't understand what was happening, but he loved getting new toys. He has been crazy about them since we got them. He is so facinated with balls right now. We have a variety of them from a big blow up ball to small little balls that you put into a giraffe's head! It is the one word other than mama and dada that he says. He crawls around saying "baa". He is also learning how to make a 'c or k' sound. It sounds like he is saying "gock". He is also waving hi and bye to everyone. He is learning so much these days, it is getting hard to keep track.Busy Man

I realized that I hadn't gotten many pictures of him crawling and before I know it he won't be crawling anymore. I think it is the cutest thing when a baby crawls around. He tries to move so quick, and for the most part he does, except when he gets too excited and doesn't move his hands fast enough and falls on his belly. I love watching his hands smack on the floor and his little hips moving back and forth. Oh man, how fun.Trying to wake up

I was so excited for the day that Noah would greet me in the morning or after a nap standing up in his crib waiting for me. The day has come. Sometimes he just sits there waiting but it is too fun when I come in and he is standing there with a huge grin, and starts to jump in excitment of getting up and seeing mom. Oh man, these are the times when I get the over whelming love for him that just takes over my whole body and I just want to squeeze him and kiss him.
