Carving pumpkins!

A yearly tradition in the Leonard family is to carve pumkins. Aram and Ashley try to do the most difficult designs every year. They are getting pretty good at it. Ben is the most creative one, this year he did a face throwing up its guts. I just wanted to do a simple spider. Well unfortunetly, mine flopped. I completely messed the whole thing up. The spiders legs all fell out one by one, and then finally the body fell out leaving a big open square in the pumpkin. What a waste of time. Luckily enough, I got awarded most unique because no one thinks to just cut out a big hole. Oh well, better luck next year. At least we enjoyed ourselves as we watched the Rockies lose.

On the move

the parents house

Well, it seems like we don't stop moving which is very annoying. We originally sold our house so that I could stay home with Noah. We moved into a small two bedroom apartment in central Colorado Springs. Unfortunately, that was horrible. We had more maintenance issues and neighbor problems than stars in the sky (or so it seemed). So after enough complaining to higher management all the way up to the property manager, we got out of our lease without penalty. Our plan originally was to sign a year lease and move to Oregon after that which would have been in June 2008. Our plan is still to move to Oregon, maybe a month or two early, but until then.....oh yes, I am back with my parents! After three years of being on my own and enjoying that very much, Ben, Noah and I are starting a new adventure. It really isn't bad at all other than it feels like no time has passed. I remember exactly where everything is, how annoying it is to clean the place and little Noah is getting very spoiled because Grandma and Grandpa can't stand to see him cry and absolutely love holding him. So there will be a challenge, but you can't beat living somewhere for free right? Hopefully I get can get rest from moving now since we have to do it all over again very soon. The next time is going to be a big one!

Family Blog

Alright so Ben (being the computer maniac he is) doesn't want to have multiple blogs, but I thought it would be nice to create a 'Family' blog to let everyone know what is going on with all our lives, not just his tech stuff. So here it is, our family blog. Lets hope that he will add to it. If not, I will gladly update everyone with Noah and Amber news! I hope everyone is doing good!
